LIFESTYLES1031 is not just a name, but the fruits of years of hard work and experiences. My name is JE Sunnie Discipio, originally from Trinidad & Tobago, I have lived in the United States for many years. A Psycho Aromatherapist, Certified Massage & Spa Therapist, Reiki Master, Certified Yoga Teacher, Master Herbalist, and Holistic Health Advocate.
With many years of experience, I owned and operated a 2400 SF Upscale Day Spa in the San Francisco Bay Area, and offered a variety of therapeutic treatments, including Deep Tissue, Swedish massage, detox herbal body wraps, body exfoliation, Reiki treatments, hydrotherapy, aromatherapy, and more.
With two high-speed auto accidents, anxiety, depression, bruised heart, broken sternum, neck fracture, and back injuries. Nerve and muscle damage from Post-Polio syndrome I was prescribed medication to relieve my pain and discomfort. I also suffered a fractured left shoulder!!! I started to take Doctor prescribed medications (7 different medications), which lasted for years, it did more harm than good to my body. Since then, I have gradually weaned myself from prescription medications, and it's been at over 10 years since. I made the commitment to heal myself from within by incorporating more herbs and sea moss in my diet, eliminating all meat including seafood. As well as I practice yoga, and other forms of meditation regularly. Because of nerve damage, and post-polio syndrome I am very sensitive to the environment, and products containing harsh chemicals including skincare products, this is what inspired me to create a LIFESTYLES 1031 Brand of products. My products are Medical Grade, Organic, Natural, Vegan, Cruelty-free, Paraben-free, which are gentle & nurturing to the body and senses making them ideal for any skin type, especially sensitive skin.
Being a polio survivor, I learned from a very young age the importance of self-care and wellbeing. Having a childhood full of traumatic experiences and life-changing situations, I’ve had to take care of myself from the age of 9 years old, which helped me to be who I am today. I have spent most of my life trying to please others, for them to love and accept me, but It was not until I started loving myself that my health improved, and my life changed. Selfcare may sound selfish to some, but in my life experiences self-care is an act of love and nurturing to oneself and The Creator, it validates that you appreciate your life enough to take care of yourself. Loving yourself also teaches others how to love you. The most important relationship is the one you have with yourself.
